Projects

  • Helped secure multiyear Air Force funding for systems of systems modeling of aerospace vehicles.

  • Created multiple academic/industrial partnerships which led to government SBIR/STTR awards.

  • Led efforts to involve university in primarily industrial based partnerships for proposal submissions to multiple government RFP opportunities. Efforts contributed to three awards, two of which have contract values in excess of $1B over several years.

  • Helped create university involvement in multi university partnership which was awarded funding by DOD to develop workforce development and training approaches to improve U.S. hypersonic workforce of the future.

  • Served as project manager for workforce development and training element of a multiyear state funded program to fund university/industrial teams to pursue research aligned with needs of federal laboratories in State of Ohio.

  • Created assessment of aerospace vehicle modeling and simulation capabilities available at Ohio’s public and private universities.

  • Providing support for creation of an academic focused Center of Excellence for Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) in support of emerging electric aircraft industry.

  • Led development of multiple formal agreements between university and industrial entities involved in hypersonics. The agreements have allowed deeper technical discussions and exploration of collaboration opportunities focused on priority hypersonics needs for the U.S. government and industry.
